Powerul Gemstone Meanings

Since the dawn of history, people have been in awe of gemstones and have thought them to have unseen powers. Why are we so enthralled by them? Maybe it's because of the vivid, rich color that represents a concentrated mass of nature's energy. Our subconscious mind processes many kinds of subtle information that we are unaware of, and for some reason man has always, viewed gems as a doorway to a higher, all-present power and wisdom.

But are they really a portal to that infinite power, or does it just make us feel good to imagine? This is something we can't likely argue logically or prove, because energy often doesn't conform to our scientific expectations.But in any case, I think that even if they don't have any supernatural power, it's still possible for them to have a big impact on us. How so, you ask?Through their symbolism that represents our hopes and ambitions in life.

Let me explain what I mean. I am a business owner, and when I was in the early stages of preparing for the launch of my business my partner gave me a gift, a tiger's eye gemstone. Tiger's eye gemstones are tought to help you reach your ambitionsand bring you success and prosperity. Every day I would stare at the gem, focused on it, visualized my goals, and got right down to work. Did the gem create that focus, or did I? I believe that I did it myself, but I also think that symbols hold exceptional motivational power, as the student of any faith knows. I could be a skeptic and discount gemstones as fraudulent, but even if they are not providing me with any direct benefits, I still appreciate their symbolic meaning and the motivation I get from it.

Collecting gems is a fantastic hobby to take up, since the huge variety of gems with different "powers" allows us to choose stones that reflect our values. When I am deciding what gems to buy, I take a look at my life and my current physical, spiritual and mental state, and I buy gemstones that will help lead me to my desired outcomes. If I am feeling trapped by jealous and envious feelings, maybe I'll buy a peridot piece,because peridot is thought to get rid of feelings of jealousy, anger, and rivalry. Even if the peridot happened to be a fake one and not real, I am sure I would still move in a direction away from jealousy because purchasing the peridot was a demonstration of my commitment to improve that aspect of my life

Gemstones don't have the power to directly control humans, but they do have the ability to bring out the power of humans themselves. I think that is what makes them useful and imporant, which is a great thing. We wouldn't appreciate change in our lives if they weren't the results of our own struggle, so it is good that gems only provide us with the inspiration but we have to do the rest.
